There are two hotels in Lelystad - The Lelystad Airport hotel and the Mercure Lelystad (googlethem) The prices are reasonable as im told.
Hope this helps

OK, now lets finalize this, what time and where.
Lelystad, Aviodrome OK that clear but Saturday? Sunday and in the afternoon of in the morning. IN the restaurant or at somebodies booth.
I would like to do the meet Sunday at noon. This gives everybody the time to snoop the news and share this before the event is over.
Any comments?
Mike

This message was initially going to be part of my overall FSWeekend 2008 evaluation and thoughts thread but I decided to do everyone a favor and separate the meet part so you don't have to read everything all at once.
First of all, my sincerest thanks to everyone for making what was a very last minute arrangement. We had lots of creative ideas for the meet and the weekend but in the end we decided to err on the side of keeping it plain and simple since it was 10 days or so before the show when we decided to attend.
In the end, by my count we had 25 people at the restaurant (some were guests) and 15 of us stayed for dinner after the drinks. The food was great, the conversations interestingly simulation related, and I think in the end everyone had a great time.
Here is the group picture from Roland's camera... once I get settled back in to the usual rhythm of life I will scan up the meet memoir we autographed, put the picture with it and get it up on the site.

Next year you really have to come too.
Btw, I was very impressed by the panels Phil made you.
We're not often impressed by others panels, but Phil did an absolutely amazing job. Hats off to you Phil !
I've only really talked to Efe and Phil and was pleased to meet both. Hope i can find more time next year to meet more of you guys.
