I ran the PM Sound update, but I cant find the runway bump sound. Anyone know what it's called?
It's called 'nbump.wav' if I remember right

hmmm....I installed the update per the instructions and it didt add the .wav and it cant be hear either. My understanding is that you just d/l the update, and drag the new (.exe?) file over into the PM Sounds folder, right? It then overwrites the file and you fire it up and it's supposed to be there, correct?

You need to install the new .wav files in the sound folder too.

That's what I suspected, but where is the new .wav file at- PM.com?

Yep, as far as I can see it's not in the d/load. Any pointers where to find the file?

I think there is a lot of confusion because I THINK there are two distinct versions of PMSounds... both called that same name.
The rather OLD version came with a long list of soundfiles already installed and showing in the right hand "window" of the main program. It had little flexibility in changing stuff.
The NEW version (now on the website) seems to come with no sound files installed, and a HUGE amount of programming flexibiluity to activate sounds most any way you want.
Am I correct in this?
THAT may be why you are not finding the wave file that some people reference.
Been a while since I looked at them...... so I easily could be wrong.

That may be true, but I wonder where we are supposed to get the .wav file :-) ?
Not in the PMsounds/sounds/ folder?
If not I could upload my file to the library here
