Anyone knows where to get boeing style MCP knobs. Especially the VS wheel. I can't seem to find them anywhere. The only ones i've seen is the one included in the FDS MCP package. Anyone knows of anywhere which sells them separate? How about the pesdestal panels. I only need a few. is it a must to buy all of them together?

How would i attach the vs wheel? I would be using IOCards.

the encoder card from opencockpits will accept input from most common rotary encoders. I dont have a clue what kind of rotary encoders real VS wheels have though.

i mean connecting the hardware to a back plate or something like that.

then the type of iocard is irrellevant. You could use L shaped brackets.

how do i attach the rotary encoder to the bracket. Taking it as i'm using a normal rotary encoder. Glue? Would i be strong enough? I would most like be using a dakenskys mcp panel.

Thanks

THe rotary encoder is threaded on the outside of the housing that the shaft you turn goes through. You drill a hole in the bracket large enough for the encoder to go through and then fasten it with a nut. :D
