I got a few additions for the 727 for Christmas this year and had a day off today.
Wiring for the light plates will be early next week along with the righ bay rail. The plastic on the righ is just a filler panel for the time being.
No, the radar does not actually work, but it was a nice gift none the less.

Thanks. I had to go searching for pictures of Bendix radars and trays so I could get a look at how the thing is mounted. It sits in its own tray, so...
I had to build one for it.

Looking good, Plenty of room for a FMC do you think you will ever upgrade it like joe's 727?

No FMC, but I'll be getting an INS unit to see if I can use the keypad for FS functions. That'll be a nightmare trying to reverse engineer that.
But, I lost my keyboard spot today and I never heard back from the custom keyboard company I wrote to twice about a custom keypad for the RT box.
I'm hoping to have some luck using the INS keypad and a new Hagstrom card.

Wow Mike, that looks great. Must be nice to be able to get the real deal.... guess I'll be waiting a long time before 767 parts become available (and affordable if at all). Are all the components you have from a real 727.... I mean apart from your throttle which I know you built? And are they all working in your sim?

Everything that I didn't build myself came from a real donor 727. I'd hate to think what even the smallest part would have cost new from the manufacturer.
A lot of it works, a lot of it doesn't. No radios are working. If I ever get around to experimenting with them, I might be able to get one to work. I'm actually thinking of replacing them with the newer style digital heads. It's the one concession I'm willing to make.
Most of the overhead works, but no flight recorder, anti-skid, pax address, voice recorder, stall warning, or hydraulics.
The window heat, anit-ice, cowl heat, NS/Fasten seat belt, yaw dampers, internal and external lighting (most), engine starters, and pitot heat is all working.
In the RT box, the radar display and advanced radar controller will probably never work, and the trip minder, I wouldn't know where to begin to interface it. There's no comparable function in FS, but it does help keep track of what flight I'm flying
My nicest working piece is my Sperry SP-50 auto pilot. Some annunciators that are linked to the AP are working, but most MIP indicators are not. The landing gear indicators are working, but they do not sequence like they are supposed to because they are linked to the gear handle, which does work.
I'd say I'm about 65-70% there, but still a long way to go. The engine stack gauges and the radios are the biggest projects I still have to complete.
I'm just happy it's flyable as a 727 and not a desktop. :)
