Hi
Because of a question of Trevor Hale yesterday that I had to answer with "Sorry, no", I did a sleepless night with a lot of coffee!
Now the anwser is == YES you can == :D
Your Electronic Checklist is a very neat addition.
Can the checklist be customized?
So, now it is!
You can now write a script with your own defined Checklist.
This Checklist can of course not work with Autocheck Mode because the hole oppsite logic of pmSystem is needed to be hardcoded internal.
The updated version wil be online in some minutes, a another coffee is needed.

HI Thomas
Because Im not sure what conversation you are referring back to, is this Electronic list only in PMSystems, or in other projects like PMRJ ? ? ?
Thanks!

Hi Eric
The Electronic Checklist is a stand alone application that has the opposit internal logic to work with pmSystems in 737 mode.
BUT in the case I rewrote a complete part with different Checklisthandling it is now possible to write your own checklist (up to 20, with 50 checks per list).
You can just place the screen on top of other programs (topmost visible), overlapped.
There is than a lot of ways to control this checklist, Keys, Mouse or just Offsets for hardware or Button programming in FSUIPC (Joystick buttons).
The Program is as well Visible / Hide by above controls so that the Checklist is ONKLY visible where you placed and sized it when you need it.
For 737 it has the FSUIPC connection for Autocheck so that you only need to control the hardware and the checklist checks the positions, when done ("CHECKED") it jumps to the next position you have to switch or what ever is needed.
But at this state for 737 only, I will see what more is needed / wanted for other A/C's.

LOL Thomas,
Sorry buddy, I didn't mean to keep you up all night working on that.
I think this is a great option, and I don't need auto complete checklists, as Pilots are supposed to manually check themselves, it just will assist in removing more unwanted paper from the cockpit.
Great piece of software indeed.
Now if only my wife will give me the break from renovations to play with it, I will be much happier...
Thanks again.

Thomas, the problem is, Trev still has to put a lock on his door, that's if he even has one :) :) :)
Nice work Thomas, it goes to show how dedicated and committed you are to the flight Sim builders :) Thank You!!!

To make it may be more clear. If you want use the program for your own needs you can just create your own checklists, up to 20 Checklists with up to 50 Check Points per each Checklist. The example below shows two created Checklists on the screen and its script.

Brilliant, Truly Brilliant. I can't wait. This weekend will be a ball.. I got clearance from the wife to play :)
BTW, My sim doesn't have a cockpit door, but the room the sim is in does, unfortunately if I lock myself in the room and avoid the wife, I may come out to find all my belongings on the front lawn buried in snow.
Although, how bad would that really be?
Thanks Thomas, I will let you know how things go.

Just insert to each Checklist the two Check Points
"FRONT CHECK . . . . CLEAR . "
"COOL DOWN. . . . . . . . . . . "

It's a program that Thomas wrote. It is on his website. It runs on top of the PM ND. Sweet program.

It's a program that Thomas wrote. It is on his website. It runs on top of the PM ND. Sweet program.
It is place-able where ever you want, on any screen in your Network (WideClient connected) or as well as stand alone application on any PC may be with your own created Checklists for Online Flying or somthing.
Size is up to 1280 x 1024 and free position, saved of course.
In Manual mode / own checklists mode it doesn't need a FS connection!
Btw - over the last 2 days many things added. And the BEST thing is that Peter Dowson did a lot of work on its WideClient that can now control the program when it is running on CDU PC with Hardware CDU!
!!! That means you control the program with CDU hardware Keys and the Checklist is placed on CDU screen when in Visible mode !!!
So the Checklist can be run on CDU Screen and is visible if needed.
I've never thought that this will possible, but that' just Pete :-)
There will be a special WideClient and description as well on my homepage.

How impressive.
You just keep going. Now Instead of running on my GC Machine, I will run it on the CDU machine. Classic.
Big Thumbs up to Pete, and Thomas,
Great work guys, and thanks.

Hi Matt
A Airbusversion will be done as well, for Autocheck Mode like I did for B737.
Up to this time you can create your own checklists, the is the same as will with the CDU/MCDU Keys via wideClient (Pete did this changes / construction to WideClient) as well with needed changes I did in Electronic Checklist.
So it is with Customer Checklists just in Manual Mode, that means the difference is you have to do the CHECKED status with the Key, Mouse or Offset. Depends just on your needs.

Thomas,
The Learjet 45 has an optional Electronic Checklist that the user scrolls thru via the rotary on the bottom of the display bezel. Would it be possible to enable this checklist in the Message Center area of the EICAS on the PMRJ software?

I couldn't check this with an USB screen but with a normal screen it works in this way.
But the Electronic Checklist is not part of the CDU, it is only possible with the madificated WiedClient by Pete to control with the Keyboard (PC or CDU) the Checklist when both is running on that PC. So if it is in Visible mode the Checklist is overlapped of the CDU display and you see in CDU display the Checklist, kontrolled by the Keyboard.
I don't think that it will work over the Network as well, but for this there is the Offset control (not by CDU Keys).

Hi Eric
If the size of the Checklist Display in the range of this you can overlapp it.
The Display is size-able up to 1280 X 1024 dots (press "ESC" Key to resize and then "ESC" key again). All settings are saved!
Just try the demo to see.

The latest FSUIPC and WideFS is always the best!
But for the special WideClient go to my Homepage -> Download, it is beside the Full Setup download.
It works as well with the Demo and also the Checklist Controller.

Thomas,
...
Would it be possible to enable this checklist in the Message Center area of the EICAS on the PMRJ software?
It depends of your screen size of the RJ display.
Btw - the Min Size is 350 X 310 dots, Max Size is 1280 X 1024 dots (of the Checklist prog.).
