Hello

I am building a B737-800 flight deck. Hardware is almost complete. Just have some interfacing on the o/h to go.

Now I’m working on the software side of the sim. I have 8 computers and all are set up and running FS9+PM fine.
So far i have not been flying so the default 737-400 has been ok for systems testing and interfacing.

But now I want to use PMDG 737-800 and would like to check if anybody has a solution for removing all panels and logics from PMDG so I can use their flight model with PM.
I have tried the two different solutions on PM website but they are for the -700 SU3.

How do i get the -800 modified for use with Project Magenta?

Hi

Please go the easy way and don't try to use the mod files, I never tryed this file and don't know what they do!
Just make a copy of your Paqnel.cfg file in PMDG'S aircraft folder and replace thepanel.cfg file in the panel folder with the attached one (unzip).
Nothing more to change.
The changed panel.cfg defines ONLY outside views.

Check as well our news page

Hello Patric, I managed to get this working this way.
Uninstall ALL PMDG 737 series from your computer (there is a utility on the PMDG website).
Install just the 600/700 series
Follow the instructions on the PM website with the modification.
Test it with the PMDG 700 (I used the winglets version)
Once you have it working install the 800/900 series
In your 800 series make edit your panle.cfg to reflect the same changes as the 700 seires. Should work a treat.
