I have just begun using Solid Works and AutoDesk Inventor, does anyone know of any good files for simulator parts for either of these. Would anyone consider an exchange of files, maybe even a sub forum in the future if there is enough interest. I would gladly draft a part for someone (3D w/dimensions, sheet metal, stress analysis, and the likes) for an exchange of existing files, or Sim parts.

I know of no real resources for accurate CAD or solids files for aircraft. All that stuff is IP proprietary, so it doesn't float around much. I am trained in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Catia, Illustrator, SurfCAM, MasterCAM and FeatureCAM.

I was refering to any sim pilot drawn CAD files, maybe a piece somone has designed, like "Tomlin"'s Lear Gear HAndle, or todays post of a BAC-11 Cokpit wireframe.
