Nico Kaan's site HERE (http://home.planet.nl/~nwkaan/) has some very helpful advice. Also you'll find a number of tutorials on the Opencockpit forum site. Their manuals can be helpful once you decipher some of the terminology but are still good at explaining it. The translation from Spanish to English isn't without fault though.
It's very important to either purchase or make connection boards for all inputs and outputs. That will simplify any connectivity and help to map where you put things. You will find a description and pix of these on Nico's site also.
Hope that helps, persist as it's worth it.
Ken.

Hello in Florida.
www.hispapanels.com
Could be a place to look.
It is a bit akward to navigate the page, but the language is good enough.
