Servo X DC Motors

Hello All
I intend to build a Throttle with automatic system.
I use Opencockpit interface and have already USB Servo cards.
Some one could tell me if its fine for my project or I Should go to DC Motors.
What kind of servo is a great one if its indicated.

Find a roll or pitch servo from a small GA aircraft autopilot. Thats what i have, works great. Has a clutch that can be manually overidden in an emergency, cable and or chain driven, tough as nails and fairly cheap. Use either the servo or dc card to control it.
