Hi all,
Maybe a very good alternative for the seats before starting looking for real ones. see link

Maybe a bit expensive but the stuff looks nice and good. You can always make your own adjustments :-)

Well, the seats are good looking, but they are not adjustable in height so in my opinion they are useless.
Adjustment is critical important.
And you get a brand new Scania or Volvo truck seat for that prize. They are adjustable in all kinds of direction.

I agree a bit with the prize but with some imagination you can design something simple underneath the chair and you have almost the same results as the fancy trucker chairs. :-)

Absolutely:)
I have been thinking about using a modified scissor-jack. Like the ones that come with a brand new car. Should be fairly easy to install in a seat:)

Before I decided to build mine to my height requirement, I looked at a motorcycle jack. It had all the right stuff, but it was a bit too big.
I finally gave up and just decided to custom build it to the height I needed.

Hey, thats funny, I've been thinking about the exact same thing!!:p
I think it would be quite easy too... You know, that guy Daniel Friede:

He also referrers to something like that method... I'm planning to build his seats ;)
