Hello friends of cockpit building,
my name is Robert and I want to introduce myself here.
I found this forum in my "favourites" toolbar, maybe I saved the link as I searched for informations around my 737 projects.
Since 2003 I am a cockpitbuilder, started with FSBUS and AGT panels to build up my own 737 cockpit. First I just wanted to create some advanced hardware for my desktop, I am flying since my 13th Birthday on Flightsimulator.

But as I saw how complicate the interface systems at this time were, I decided to build a whole double seat cockpit.
I continued working and build up connections to several cockpit-building-part-sellers and start working for their projects. 2007 I started to work as a professional cockpit builder/technical engeneed of EVS-Flighttraining (www.evs-flighttraining.de) with their 737 Simulator.

One year after I offered my help as "self-employed" cockpit builder next to my school-education (A-level) and worked on 3 homecockpits since this time.
2008 I finished my first single-seat 737 simulator for a customer, which I build fully alone without the coordination of one of the big established part-sellers.

Next to my work as cockpit builder and student I am very dedicated member of IVAO (ivao.aero), one of the big networks in online flying and a real life sport-pilot.
I am going to finish my A-level next year and want to start studying aerospace technologys at the technical university Berlin. Maybe specialisation "flight simulation".
After I finished academic studies a career as pilot with further duties (engineed, instructor, examiner) is planned.
regards,
Robert from Berlin / Germany.
