IOCards connection to PC

Hello at all,

I'm trying to connect IOMasterCard to my PC and I'm wondering if:

Can I use, instead of a paraller cable, a USB to paraller cable?
If I understood well, the card gets paraller's port address and stores it. Can this card works later on in another PC or it must reconfigure?

I would buy the USB Expansion Card it avoids a lot of unnecessary problems.

I was thing about it, but I don't like so many cards. Funny is, that it's the only card which I didn't bought, thinking that it's just for connection up to 4 master cards.
