Made this up in about an hour using an aluminum novelty license plate cut down to size, some aluminum angle and a piece of spring steel from a holster I don't use anymore.

It's a little on the thin side, but it does the job. Wish I could find a real one.

Tried it out on EDDF-LOWW run this afternoon. Works geat.

Mike,
That looks really good but at the end of thay instead of all that unecessar building and taking stuff apart etc etc why didnt you just use this http://www.actechbooks.com/products/act117/ way more functional too.

Also you mentioned a spring from a holster you dont use anymore? What sort of holster uses a spring? A clam shell style> just wondering.

It was an Uncle Mike's IWB nylon rig for a Springfield I don't have anymore.

The spring steel in those belt clips is really strong for something like this.

Thanks for the link, I'm going to check it now. I hope I don't find that I could have bought this Boeing chart holder off-the-shelf at this place. ;)

Thanks, but I looked at all of those boards last week. Nice to have the info on them, but I'd still have to cut it to 4"x10" for the correct size.

I might have been able to use the clip, but if it was riveted to the board I probably would have destroyed it trying to remove it.

Thanks Joe.

Just another little detail to add. Seems like the more I study the photos the more I find. Hard to miss a chart holder though.
