In addition, APHS has limited quantities of 707-727-737 PPG glass for sale. This was just posted. It's dated the 10th, but it wasn't there this morning.

Too rich for my blood though. I paid $25 for an L4 over a year ago on e-Bay.

These prices are high for uncertified, possibly delaminating glass even if they are original equipment and would look fantastic in your sim.

But if you have to have some, I don't know of anywhere else to get it if you can pay the piper.

I guess he thinks it is. But then he doesn't scrounge for parts, turn every possible source upside-down, do endless internet searches, etc.

Scarce? Maybe. Rare by no means. Still a good man though.

He is a good guy, well you let out my source for my L1011 cockpit. Can't wait to see the throttle quadrant.

Yeah it's like he's only got one left so it's very rare until the delivery of 3 million arrives tomorrow in which case it's demoted to 'rare'. Only kidding around there - looks like an aviation enthusiast's alladin's cave, and some good pricing on some of it if you're looking for a piece of history.

Most items are priced very reasonably compared to other sources, and sometimes even e-Bay for a part you can't find.

But really, who is going to buy glass, even as a core for a beloved 727/737 for that kind of money???? Yes, it is scarce, but Christ it ain't made from crystal edged with gold.

Still, for a good cause if you're willing to pony up the dollars. I'm not paying $300 for an L5 no matter what the cause. My 'cause' is my 727, and I buy as cheap as I can get it within reason.

SURELY that switch is supposed to be $21.50, or at the worst, $210.50, right???

It doesnt even have paper work! No CoC or anything!

I think a new one with paper work would cost that price, but without the paperwork it is just as good as any other ordinary switch.

What a joker.

Unfortunately those switches are expensive but as Tom said without paperwork they are worthless to any AMO.

I offered him $200 knowing that it would be declined and it was declined in seconds which has got to be my quickest rejection on ebay thus far and goes to show that he has no clue.

Somebody is taking the piss though. For an individual switch that's outrageous. For that money you could manufacture your own and that's allowing for buying power tools and doing a metalwork course.
