G'Day all.
Rob from Melbourne, Australia.
Just introducing myself. I am building a Cessna 310L twin. The reason for this-I have a C310 cockpit which I've had for about 15 years and the kids are getting older so I can start. Here is the plan:

-FS2004
-Hardware Mjoy16 for flight controls.
-FSBUSNG for other controls/switches/servos/indicators.
-All steam gauges
-Avionics based on Bendix/King (Currently in the process of designing a one PCB which has then entire GA Range incl KX-165NAVCOMx2, ADFx1, DMEx1, Transponderx1, Autopilot, Audiopanel).
-Interior/switches/upholstery will be based on the real thing.
-Display-Unknown at this stage.
-2DOF moving platform with 40-45degrees movement. Debating whether to use a centre mounted universal joint, or a two was gimble giving a 360degree movement.
-Transportable by trailer.
-Instructor station which is mounted in a hardcase for transporting. (Will include 1 x screen for FS display and 1 x screen to display interior with 4x infra-red cameras (2 from back to L&R panel, 1 x pilot face, 1 x co-pilot)).

A large project-YES! but I'm taking baby steps and I'm enjoying the outcomes. I'll post some pictures shortly.
Regards to all.
