Hello!
Iam building a 767-alike simulator, looking a bit like a 737-400 for the time beeing. (Boeing-grey;)
Anyway, I have undocked instruments for the LEVELD onto a dedicated screen, and covered it with wood:
http://www.torestabell.no/767/d003.jpg
The ND/EHSI/EICAS are super-clear, but the rest of the analogue instruments are dull and unsharp, like the default FS 737 gauges.
I am looking for gauges that can replace the analogue instruments.
I hva looked at FSXpand, but the gauges looks a bit - strange.
The altimeter has no numerical reading, it is more like a Cessna one, for example.
Then there is realityxp, which has super crips gauges, but they hav no airspeed inicator other than a cessna one.
Do you guys know of a set of replacement gauges to use in a 767-type airliner?

Super smooth, super crisp, can be moved and resized at will.

There are a bazillion guages at AVSIM.com. You can use FS Panel Studio to manipulate them and add them to your panel file.
I've been thinking of doing the same with my vertical speed indicator. It's not as sharp as I'd like either.

Thank you for replying.
The magenta is probably for use on a separate computer, and with a far too high price? I have sent them a mail to ask for the price for just those gauges,
if possible.
And on Avsim:
I must say I have downloaded at least 20 different panels, but all of them have used default gauges in their panels, collected from various FS sources.
But it is a good idea to investigate further.

You don't need to download entire panels, just the gauges you need or want. There are some original gauges out there.

Stabell, you might try Ellie Systems (http://www.elliesystems.com/Store/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=421) as they produce a suite for the 737 which is an alternative to PM gauges (and much cheaper). They also have a set of 737 standby instruments.
Ken.

Is this any good for you. Gauges from Jayco.

With FSpanel Studio you could use any gauge from any aircraft in your fleet. I built this panel using the gauges from the payware Mooney from Carenado. I have built a generic cockpit and simulate 4 different aircraft, by using FSpanel Studio I have been able to mix and match guages from all the aircraft in my hangar.

Are you sure you can use payware guadges that way? I am not saying "NO" but you should probably double check the license agreement.

There is no issue with using the gauges in this manner for personal use. If I were to send the gauges to someone else or didn't pay for them initially that would be an issue. I bought the Carenado Mooney and modified it somewhat to work in my cockpit, it's really not much different from adding a repaint to the original model. I have been developing freeware aircraft for 5 years and have seen my work get altered and re-distributed in ways it was never intended, it can be frustrating to say the least.

This is truly a helpful forum!
Kennair: The Ellie was OK, but the standby gauges looks a bit - not real,
like the altimeter shows "2272" feet. The ND and EHSI looked good, though!
Jackpilot: Are those gauges of yours crisp? Do you know where you have got them from?
Radar: Jayco seems offline, I cannot find their website. Perhaps you know the address?
Shawn: FSPanel Studio looks very promising, but in case, I would have to build a gauge from scratch, as there are no gauges in my hangar with crisp airspeed/vs/altimeters;)
The closest up to now, is the reality xp gauges, which have a sort of vector based graphics, and because of that completely crisp, even if you zoom in on them.
I've been through a lot of downloads from Avsim today, because I hoped to steal a gauge or two from a panel to put into my own panel. But most of it
is FS default gauges.
But with all your help, I will find it!
Thank you again for kind help!

The gauges on my old panel are real neat and crisp but they are not 767.
I still have them in a file.
I used to build my panels straight from the panel cfg by toying with the size and placement numbers..fairly easy.

I don't seem to find the site.
Heres the manual http://cid-fad9ff1a0d885b64.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/jayco%20rar/jayco.rar
The exe is there to . If you want to give it a try. I can;t get over how clear these gauges are.
Maybe someone could help me put this in the download section

Thank you, Radar,
unfortunately I get "initialisation error".
Much easier with glass cockpit solutions in home cockpit building,
several suppliers, and all are super sharp!

How about you folks post those links to the BUILDERS LINKS section here? That would be really great!

Hi, Radar, thank you for helping me out!
(but this time I got only a link to a link;)
(that is: a link to the files on a local computer)
Why is it, if anybody knows why, that the bitmap of most of the gauges
in the FS world is like 128x128 pixels?
It will always look a bit rotten..
