This is just a question of curiosity at the moment, it may go somewhere but I'm not too sure ;)

So the question is what do you need more for your simulator at the moment? I broke it down into the three main categories that I see making up sim building. Sure there are many more but these are the main ones in my view.

Yes true.. money and room ;)

My need is more for electronic components at the moment. As far as I have seen on the net all specialised components have very high prices...

Switch gear such as Eaton and Korrys, or any decent dual illuminated latching push button, toggle switches are easy but switches for the modern bus and boeings are an issue for me

HAHA .. Love this post and if someone comes up with please let me know!! Nice AndyT

I feel as a learjet builder we are needing a more aircraft based display avionics i.e Honeywell Primus 1000 replica with FMS software. I see all the boeing stuff has been replicated to perfection or close, but still nothing for the corporate builders for the exception of PMRJ software that still has no V and LNAV capabilities unless using the Boeing CDU software.

Radios and radar. A new Hagstrom card too.

Radios will be along after my tax refund next year.

A 12.1 WS monitor for my engine guage stack.

I voted for panels because no one is making them for the 767.
Maybe I will get round to making my own backlit ones someday.

Companies/Individuals who sell products for our sims to start working together.

I am so tired and frustrated with trying to ask my way through forms or emails to try and determine if product X is compatible with product Y, and Y and X are compatible with Z.

How about someone start developing a flight sim standardization process so we know what products will work together.

It works for other industries.

And in some cases, an "understanding wife". Which in my case I fortunately have :) :) :)

Or maybe one company that does the lot for a good price?

I need more time. With time I can solve the other issues.
