Good idea!
Can you quickly explain how you did your overhead panel. Is it just a poster behind plexiglass?

And I can think up some pretty crazy stuff too. Like bed liner spray for a glareshield coating???

Got you on that one Mike. It was mentioned almost a year ago I think. Still, another great idea.

Actually it was Mike who was the one who mentioned using the bed liner spray for the glareshield:

So it was! Well then, great job Mike! And sorry about not giving credit where it was due. I know how much it bugs me when it happens.

- the car bumper : is the rear car bumper from a French Peugeot 206 car
- the overhead panel : the overhead file is from Juan Cordon à fantastic 737 cockpit builder, you can download it on internet http://users.skynet.be/jcordon/cockp...7_overhd_B.jpg
Give this file to a Cie spécialist in Advertising Panels, and ask them to print this file on a white light diffusion panel (4/5mm) and you will have a nice résult, and backlight is wonderfull, in France this cost me 90 Euros.
After that you have just to make a wood frame, add now some switches, pushbuttons, rotary buttons/switches ...

I find that "some" spoilers cars make really good glareshields (when modified) for the cessna type aircraft! Something to think about for GA builders, though making a GS from scratch is much better in my eyes!
