Hey guys. I've been looking in town for rotary pots for my throttle setup, but can't find any. Can any of you guys who live in canada or bc for that matter give me an idea where I can order some rotary pots?
Also which of Leo's cards (I also need the link to his site pls) is recommended for a yoke/throttle setup with only a few extra buttons etc?
Thanks again.

I have ordered from Digikey in Mississauga in the past.. and as for leo's card... Get the X latest one.. Its the best of the bunch as each switch and pot has it's own terminals.

Agree with Trevor. I just got 2 X cards from Leo. It's going to be nice not to solder and use diodes. He also carries rotary pots.

It's a great card! No hassles at all with it.
I wish I could find some encoders though, that would move the CDI and heading indicator as fast as I turn the knob. It takes forever for a 180° change of either.

Thanks for the info guys...good stuff. In one article I read, I understood it was best to get rotary pots with 100Komhs...now looking at leo's http://www.leobodnar.com/products/BU0836X/
Check the second pot down that says it's good for throttle quads etc....it's only 10k. I don't know the diff, but is that the one I want?

Either 100K or 10K makes no difference..
Because at one deflection they will be calibrated at Min, and at the other deflection they will be calibrated at max. so Min and max and be 0 - 100 or from 0 to 10 it makes no difference.

I found both 100k and 10k at my local The Source Circuit City (Radio Shack) here in Nelson, B.C. You cannot order them online, only in-store. By the way, SourceCC is discontinuing a lot of their electronics - most things are $0.96 right now! I cleaned out the Nelson store!
I just got my card from Leo last week. The shipping on each order is a flat rate, so you might as well order the pots from Leo.

I bought these from a company in the US.http://www.alliedelec.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?SKU=5222041&DESC=&SEARCH=&MPN= Same ones Leo sells. You are right about his flat rate shipping. Only took 10 days to get to me. Ones from the link, 2 days.
