Hello,
I would like to introduce myself… My name is Scott and I have been using flight sim since v4.0 and I have always wanted to build a simpit. Now I’m finally starting. I’m a real world private pilot and my primary interest is corporate aviation.

My goal for my simpit is to build a “generic cockpit” that I can use with a variety of aircraft, but if I was forced to select one aircraft to model my pit after; it would be the Citation X.

My major obstacles are… I’m not that good with computers and have zero carpentry skills. This will make for a true learning experience.

Here is my simpit so far…(yup still flying a desk)

Actually it has advanced a little more than shown; I just don’t have any updated pictures up yet.

So far I’m using:
- 6 Simkits instruments (need to order more)
- 15 GoFlight modules
- 737 yoke by ACE
- Saitek ruder pedals

Up coming goals:
1. More Simkits instruments
2. Triple Head 2 Go and another monitor or 2 (need to save my money for this)
3. Self built cockpit shell full enclosure
4. A real captain’s chair

and much much more...

Thanks for posting Scott, If i can emulate anything like your current set up i will be very happy. Good luck with your project.
Can i ask did you build up your Goflight modules over time or jump straight in and purchase them all together?

To answer your question:
I just jumped in and bought the airliner configuration but after awhile I added more modules.

PS when I get home I will post a current picture

Here is a more current picture of my setup. I recently added a backlit keyboard which has been a really nice addition.
