Since 2004 I've been involved in a project where we've created a mobile simulator (housed in a bus) from an old AJ37 Viggen cockpit. The intention has been to make it as real as it is humanly possible within a reasonable budget. my contribution to the project is the computer systems. That includes navigation, HUD, RADAR, simulation of features not available in FSX (for example engine stall) and much more.
Here is a film showing some of the features:

Since a year we've also been busy doing the same thing with a J 35J Draken. As with the Viggen I've been responsible for the software, and now we have a fairly good working radar simulation.
