Hello everyone! :p

I have found that ELMA introduced new Mechanical Dual Concentric Encoder Type E37 in the last quarter of 2008 and I wanted to give it a try. If anyone is interested - I have 18 sets left to sell. I apologise for commercial nature of this post but I think this is important enough to be interesting to quite a few builders! So...

• Dual concentric: Two encoders
• 16 detents on both axes
• With integrated push button
• Excellent indexing feel with 2.5 Ncm switching torque (remains consistent over life)
• Matching knobs
• 11.5 x 12.3 x 9.1 mm body size
• Made in Switzerland

Model number is E37-VT6330-1. Encoders datasheet. (http://www.elma.com/Admin/ProductionFiles1/ProductTypeFile/841/English/10%20Dual%20Concentric%20Encoder%20Type%20E37.pdf)

Matching knobs. Knobs datasheet. (http://www.elma.com/Admin/ProductionFiles1/ProductTypeFile/137/English/23%20Classic%20Collet%20Knobs%20LOWRES.pdf)
21mm light-grey matt knob 020-4415
14.5mm light-grey matt knob 020-3315
Matt light-grey cap for 14.5mm knob 040-3015
I believe the knobs are easily paintable if needed but I can't give 100% guarantee.

Knobs have internal locking system (collet) that clamps the shaft without side locking screw. It looks very tidy and solid.

Overall, the build quality is excellent - it is a proper aeronautical part.

Bare encoder with nut - £14.99
Set of knobs (14.5mm, 21mm, cap) - £4.99

Due to cost of this encoder and it is being new to the market I offer full refund (less postage) if it is returned unused in original condition. I doubt anybody will - it is a keeper! ;)

Please keep the discussion here but email me leobodnar@leobodnar.com if you want to order.

Thank you if you have made it this far! :D
