Rebuilding my MIP base for a real nose.(to come)
Have a question.See diag.Seen from the TOP.
Actually it is the lenght of the footwell where the pedals are.

the mip cant hit the curve of the nose. its way smaller. the mip sits about 140mm forward of the port starboard front window pillars. it has a gap of say 150mm guessing from the end of mip to side of shell.

Thanks David , A picture is better than words...
I am more concerned with the depth of the stand.
ie:the distance between A and B,
At point A (forward base of the MIP) it well fits in the shell of course.
But, at point B, will it hit the curve of the shell, in which case I should bring B closer to A?
(On the pic A to B is 17")
