Hello to everybody here in this incredible place,

my name is Tommy and I live in Germany.

It's now about a year ago since I've started my Bell 206 project (http://64.34.169.161/cgi-bin/ib3/ikonboard.cgi?;act=ST;f=43;t=14233).

Even with these unbelievable helpful guys from hovercontrol, I'm at a point were things have slowed down.
I'll need any help I will get - to get the measurements of that damn mixing unit in the center post.

Maybe some knows somebody which knows somebody who knows....

Enjoy reading trough my posts and please help me out of my mess.

Any reply is welcome.

Many thanks in advance
Tommy

Great project and web site :-D

My first project was going to be a Bell 206 but since there is a limited amount of my friends who knows how to fly a chopper I decided to go for a B777. I wanted a project where a crew of 2 could interact over long flights.

I still have some of my parts from both a Bell 206 and my cyclic and collective is from a Bell 205. I used to be a Flight Mechanic on an HH-1H (picture @ http://www.project777.net) in the USAF. There is a local general aviation salvage yard I was trying to get a shell from but they are way off a reasonable price. It was stripped down to nothing. Would have bee a great start.

I still hope to some day make a small rig to use the controls because I do love flying a chopper. I like that Simkits have the analog gauges that would really make it real looking. The annunciators I found at Flight Deck Solutions http://www.flightdecksolutions.com/prod_info.php?id=502 would be great to finish it off.

Have you checked out this web page as well?http://www.computerrepairs.ca/Simulator.htm Nice project, not sure if I saw it on your site.
