Hi All,
I am adding a 3 projector setup to my sim in August using SOL7.
Due to the fact that my sim is full motion, I have to mount the screen to the actual simulator, I will be using welded aluminium 1.8mtrs high by 7.8mtrs at 2.5mtr radius supported by metal brackets off the sim.
My question is what type of material would users suggest for the actual white screen?
Remember this is curved and needs to be a rigid material, not cloth, that can curve and attac on the internal part of the frame work.
I would also like to do it in one piece with no joins in the screen.
I was looking at using Forex material, but the biggest sheets are 1.56mtrs x 3mtrs, so will not work, I also thought of using a very light alloy sheet 1.5mm, but this may end up way too heavy (we need to keep the weight down)
Cheers,
Matt
