Hi,

I have seen a "print" of the 800 overhead panel without the switches (just circles where they should be) and it is a full size panel. I can't find where this print originates or who supplies it. Can anyone help with this. My idea is to use the print between 2 sheets of perspex and then mount switches and annunciators.

Many Thanks

Rob

Are you referring to the drawings/CAD files in the file library? Or this one http://users.skynet.be/jcordon/cockpit/dimensions/images/737_overhd_B.jpg?

In terms of "suppliers" I am not aware of anyone who sells these (Geremy's site does have this http://www.geremy.co.uk/shop/article_GLB09%25234/Professional-CAD-Drawings.html?shop_param=cid%3D1%26aid%3DGLB09%25234%26).

I have a wide format printer at work which can print these off in color with no problem, but it is only 24" wide (so it is not exactly to scale). In order to do it to scale, you need a wider printer that is around 36" wide because the width of the overhead is around 28". Try a local printer or even Staples. Should be able to print it out for less than $50 in color.

Hi,

Yes this looks like the one. How do you get it scaled 1-1?

I will look in the library and see if I can find it.

Many Thanks

Rob

Mounty i found the link for you.
http://users.skynet.be/jcordon/cockpit/dimensions/images/737_overhd_B.jpg

I used a free application called posterizer to scale and print my overhead in A4 sheets... then i just stuck em all together.

Edit: Just noticed Autocad already gave you the link

There are many printers on the web that offer large scale printing. I have just had my Bendix King radio stack printed onto vinyl, and the quality is exceptional. This is definitely a cheap way to do the job!

Just google local printers and I am sure that something could be done for you!

Mounty / Rob,

I actually think I have an extra copy at home (I will have to double check). It is not 1:1 but is probably 90%. Since you are in Canada, I can mail it to you if you want. Just PM me your address.
