Descent mode

Hello,

A simple question. Can you tell me what indication is displayed on the screen in your EICAS when the cdu switches to descent mode (tod). for me, it remains in cruise mode..

In the 737NG, the thrust modes that are displayed at the top of th EICAS are:

R-TO – reduced takeoff
R-CLB – reduced climb
TO – takeoff
CLB – climb
CRZ – cruise
G/A – go–around
CON – continuous
– – – – FMC not computing thrust limit

But if i understand, the decente mode it's not indicate in eicas ? it's normal if in my eicas display I'm crz indication after the top of decente ?

You are correct, you will not sec Descent mode on the EICAS after
the TOD and you started your descent.
