Do you think this will work?

Hey all.
I have the dimensions of the 744 cockpit shell, that are on the download section here, but I have just been on a site for a 777 simulator and it had some amazing dimensions on it, it showed not just the external and MIP etc, it showed the misc compartments, checklist holders, highly detailed dimensions of the whole flight deck more or less up to the door.
In the bottom right it said Boeing, so I guess thats where they came from.
Im just thinking I need some drawings for the internal sides of the flight deck such as small compartments, roof trim etc.
Do you think if I e-mail Boeing they would send some, or is that just a no point in trying sort of thing?

You should try. Tell them what you would like to do and what you need. Only thing is don't be upset with them if they don't send you info. I've gotten responses from companies about their products by asking for it. You can also be a bit generic. They may have suppliers of such things they may point you to. The more specific the question the more detailed the required answer. So your best shot is to be a bit open ended about it.

An email isn't a terrible thing to waste.

Another route you may consider is the website you found the 777 schematics. They may know of the source and can point you to it.
