Very new to sim building so pardon the ignorance.

Just recently changed my project from the L-1011 to the 737ng. I looked at most of the sites that offer the software to run the instruments but I don't seem to find the actual screen/monitors for the MIP. I am referring to the four displays that are positioned in front of the captain and first officer. They can't be regular computer screens because of their shape. The pre-fabricated 737 panel comes with the openings for these monitors.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Adrian

Hey Captain,

As far as I know it's using 1 screen for 2 displays... and then there is a beam in the middle of your screen. But I'm new too...

look at this:

I am just starting again myself.....but most of the guys are using regualar lcd monitors in back of the main panel and then resize the graphics to fit the cutout....I do believe that this is what is done......this way a monitor can be used for more than one gauge at a time....as said, I am just starting myself. Starting to do a Cessna CJ1 (cheaper and simpler to do). Have some of the panels done.

Good photo's, thanks !
I did it also like that,
what I've learned is that making "quick and dirty" mdf examples
is the way to go, finetuning of the various sizes and placements,
is more difficult than I thought.

(or do it in a CAD program like Solidworks)

btw I use VASFMC on XPlane, that works great ;)
