Hi, I am just wondering if anybody knows where or even if their is a supplier of curved / wraparound projection screens in the UK? Maybe 180 / 220 degree or so?

Also has anybody any experience using Sol7 from immersaview and the triple head 2 go?

Thanks and kind regards

Chris

At the moment I just use a large paint drop cloth that is made of raw canvas material. $40USD. I have experience with Sol7 Home Sim but not used it with flight sims yet.

I know you said U.K., but these guys make quite a nice 150 and 220 degree screen here in the U.S.. I did a lot of looking around for a curved screen and it's the only one I've been able to find that fits the bill. It's not nearly as cheap as a drop cloth or do-it-yourself project (which would be a challenge to make into a smooth curve), but with the UK/US exchange rate, you'll probably still get a good deal.

I don't own one (yet), so I can't attest to the quality or company, but from what I've read they seem to be a pretty decent company and were quick to reply to my e-mails.

Custom curved screens are available in the U.S. from Dalite.

See info at:

Much cheaper to build one yourself though. If you have enough ability to build a cockpit it is really a no-brainer.

My projector screen that i recently made with a local vendor. It costed me about Rs.21,000 (USD 400 or Euro 300). It is about 12 Feet in length and 3 feet in height and curved about 150degrees.
