Hello All !
i am honoured to post my first words here. I am Andy, 30 years old, living in Erlangen / Germany - frankonian area (which has got the highest density of beer breweries in germany ; ). I got my gliding plane license this year - so i do real time flying. For the cold months here, i want to extend my flight simulator setup. Setup now is Intel core i5, nvidia gtx260 with fsx, 3 x 19" displ. and matrox th2go.
Long term target is a non enclosed B737NG setup with MCP. MIP. THQ - maybe Overhead. So i am still in the early phase of research (Fuipc seems to be a must) - the rest IO cards, master cards, Leo Budnar cards etc. still remains a secret to me.
So first step would be the MCP: What do i need for this ? How to connect to the PC ? I got some skills in fine mechanics. I am not worried about the mechanical stuff, but for the electronic stuff like cables, soldering, controllers, etc...
Ok, that should be enough for an introduction.
:rolleyes:Andy
PS: Soaring near EDQX (at least in the soaring seasons)
