I'm new to this Cockpit building business, and from what I see is that everyone here in the forum is pretty clued up.
I have just started my cockpit building, I have a Saitek Throttle, Yoke, Rudder pedals, Radio panel and switch panel. I want to fly PMDG aircraft.
I would like to build a small panel with switches, knobs and push buttons. I plan to use an additional joystick controller to control most of these.
My question is. Where do I find help in wiring these items so I don't blow things up. I would like to find a simple guide of sorts.
I am clued up on push buttons but the rotary incremental knobs (changing altitude on PMDG) presents different problems when it comes to wiring.
If anyone could advise I would be grateful. One more thing if someone could tell me if the joystick controller approach is a good one, if not which type of controller is better. Keep in mind I'm not an electric circuit genius .
Thank you
