View Full Version : Is this a viable alternative to a BU0836X?

I have a couple of BU0836X cards from Leo Bodnar which I have always found excellent and I was actually going order another to complete my overhead.

However I have just found these cards on ebay and at half the price wondered if they would do the same job?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=170336606004&Category=3945&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D2

I appreciate it does not have axis inputs but for switches and toggles it has the same 32 inputs.

I am pretty sure they will - but wanted to check that I am not missing something before I order one!

Many Thanks

Jon

hi jon.......
i could be wrong, but am i reading this to be a keyboard emulator board and not a joystick button card as the BU0836X is.
if the price has made it worth a closer look, then use a standard BU card and make a matrix......

Hi Ian,

Just had a email back, it is an emulator and there is no way around that using their interface.

Have seen the matrix pdf on your website so may just give that a go,

Thanks!
