Opencockpits Kits

Can anybody please tell me if the PIC that comes with the Opencockpits kits e.g. USB Expansion is pre-programmed - Or do you have to program it yourself?

Excellent - Many thanks for your help Jim.

I thought it would be, but I couldn't find anything in the docs or on the site to confirm that, and
then I noticed that there was a download link to the PIC code on the same shop page as the kit
which made me wonder.
