Hi all,
I am in the process of building two B737 MIPs and came up with a neat idea I thought I should share!
When placing the centre monitor behind the MIP to display EICAS, standby instruments and the flaps gauge, it presents a problem with mounting the autobrake switch. The rotary switches I use have a body that sticks out about 20mm. Making a small pulley arrangement allows the switch to be mounted higher up on the MIP and the monitor can sit flush. I'll post pics here when I have built it!
