Is anybody else finding themselves getting upset with the smart Alec Download Library manager. I've resorted to timing myself and it still won't let me download anything... Slow down big fella, you have to wait 55 seconds to download another file... but sir, I haven't downloaded anything yet... OK, Slow down... 40 seconds... 30 seconds... 20 seconds... almost there.......OK time's up.....click! Slow down big fella.. you have to wait 55 seconds....

Well after five minutes of losing at that game I've given up.

Does someone know how I can actually download a file?

Hi Warren, something must be going on at your end. The log shows you have downloaded 14 files today, the last one being: "wsoeldner Sounds without pmsys 15:04, 20th Feb 2010"

What browser are you using?

Hi Matt,
Yes, I've tried to download about that many times. I've actually successfully downloaded two. I still ahven't been able to get that pmsounds file.

I keep getting the "Slow Down! You are trying to download files too quickly. You must wait XX seconds before you may download another file."

I've even left it alone for an hour or two, gone back, and tired, and it still gives me the prompt. Another example is your excel file with the vendor and part info... that's another one I haven't been able to get. Seat-rails.doc is another one. I was able to get the 737 Operating Manual, but still can't get 737 BBJ FCOM and QRH.

I'm using Mozilla Firefox 3.5.8. I guess I should try IE....

I just tried Internet Explorer and got the same thing.

No idea. Any hints?

Warren

Are you using a Proxy?

No, not that I know of.

However, I am connecting to the internet through HughesNet (Satellite) from Iraq. Best I can tell, it routes through Germany. No telling what HughesNet has running after it leaves me. I haven't had trouble though.

I'll be home in a few weeks and back to my trust home connection. I was more bored and looking for something to read.

That could be the problem. I'm showing you as going through a proxy, now I understand why. But, that has nothing to do with you not being able to download.

It seems it sending you the signal to download, but your end is not picking that up, like opening up a save as box and you telling it where to put the file. Send me a PM with the exact file you want and I'll give you the direct link for downloading it. Maybe that will work.
