A simple question but not many simple answers......

How do you cut out a perfectly neat hole out of paper (I am referring to 79mm cutouts) from paper.

It can't look like they are hand cut, nor use scissors....so how do you do it ?

Using a Stanley knife would still be tricky, even if cutting around an object as a template....

Just that I have an MIP poster and needs the holes cut out, but VERY neatly, as if it was digitally cut...

Its a tough one if you ask me.....

Any 'simple solutions'?

Alex...who else! :)

I use a scalpel - easily find at your local model shop

Hi Alex

Go to your local Hobbcraft shop and you will find a tool there to cut perfect circles in paper, card etc or Google what you want to do.

You can buy things that look exactly like a pair of compasses for drawing circles only instead of putting in a pencil it has a blade on the end which cuts perfectly to any diameter circle you set it at just like a compass.

Not sure if there is an industrial name for them, but would be perfect for your needs. Maybe even make your own if you've got a pair of compasses lying around.

All the best
