Arriving Destination

Hi Guys

I was flying from SKFO San Fran. to KLAX last night.
I was using CIVET STARS, but I didn't choose which runway to land
cause KLAX didn't tell me which one, every time I put in the FMC the runway I land,
when I reach the destination, ATC wants me to land on a different runway.
How do I know when Runway KLAX is using so i can program it in the FMC before reaching the STARs choosen.

Hello stepbk maybe try this while sitting at the gate pull up fs9`s flight planner put the dep and arrv in and when you can check the route notice the arrv point mouse over and zoom in you will see the active runways and there ILS freq click out and go for it, I like the fact that i can get that info plus fuel needed and distance. also i noticed it really doesnt change whether much from VFR or IFR unless you mess with winds.............
