Hi all,

I seem to be getting this message rather regularly over the past few days. I'm guessing it's not just me however i havn't heard of anyone else as yet getting this in the forum so i thought i'd bring it up.

If you've been getting this message on the page, not allowing you to access anything please let me/us know.

Thanks

No idea if it's a busy server but I have seen some oddness now you mention it, thought it was me doing something the wrong way, but it's now looking like it is not.

Anybody from MC staff, who can take care of this, please?
I never experienced this until the last several days, but it is a little annoying.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Hi Chris, I thought since Geremy (Staff) was asking.... I thought everybody would be aware that we are aware..... did that sound right...... ?

Anyway, we are on top of it. If you haven't posted yet, that you have experienced this, please do so. We need to have an idea of how many people are effected.

I appreciate your help :)

I have had this atleast 5 times today. I write a reply and it never sends because of this message, so have to write it out all again, unless I copy the text save for sending later!

I have been force logged off which normally never happens.

I have had plenty of times where I can only view one or two pages and then cant access the site anymore for a few hours.

Happens to me too. I now copy a long post before I send it, as I'm tired of 'losing' messages.

Hi Matt,

I am really sorry if my post sounded too hard, it was not meant like this. My sincere apologies! Thanks that you and Geremy are looking into this.

Regards, Chris

No apology needed, I thought I was apologizing, I guess it didn't come across that way :)

I've got to tell you, we're bewildered at this problem and going at all sorts of sources to find out what is causing this problem. I personally have not had this come up, my timing must be just right :) BUT, I'm truly having sleepless nights over this. It's extremely important to me that all of you have easy access to MyCockpit. If I hear of one report, someone having a problem, I believe 10 or more people are having the same problem. That bothers me a lot!!!!

So we're working on it.

We're working on several things to see if we can stop this from happening, sometimes it's hard for us to tell if you're receiving the "Server Busy" or just not able to get on unless you keep telling us.

Just say, "It happened again today" that way we'll know we didn't fix it.

Same here. Some of the site loaded fine but the place where the forum is on the screen had a message saying server too busy.

On behalf of the management, as Matt has already said this is a problem we are looking into and posted just to check if others were experienceing the same problems i was ... or am.

I've just had the server message of doom for 5 mins, can't access any of the pages. Must be a busy time at this moment on site.

For the moment the site is responding much faster than a few days back.

For the moment, seems we're doing something to improve the situation.

BUT, please continue to report if you have a problem. :)

AGAIN, another day went by without reports of having trouble onto MyCockpit.

Looking good so far.

I will continue to post this for about a week, as a reminder PLEASE post if you have a problem.

My only concern right now, is the lack of members signing in. 1/3 of what it normally should be. Although the total numbers of users getting onto MyCockpit keeps growing.

It's been a few days and no reports of problems getting on the site. So can I assume this problem no longer exists? :) :) :) I hope :)

It's working a lot better at the moment.

Especially the forum page (http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/forum.php). This used to cripple my browser almost all of the time. It's working sweet right now.

The homepage (http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/index.php) was always fine, but the forum page, as listed above, would slow my browser to an almost halt.
