Hello all,
i need help with preparing a 12 position switch for use as a rotary encoder. I removed the stoper from the inside and shortened the spring a bit.
I already read the PDF file from Ian (737ng.co.uk) - but the switch he used is different. (2 commons with 6 pins each).
I have 12 pins on the outer ring, numbered 1 to 12, and 3 pins on the inner ring labeled as A,B,C.
So can anybody give me input how to manipulate this switch, that i can connect it to a bu0836x to get it working as rotary encoder (+ signal clockwise, - signal counterclockwise) ?
Any help is highly appreciated.
Regards from Germany
Andreas
