Ok,
I have taken all the measurements from the Paneles.zip drawing and has redrawn the MIP into a simple line drawing to act as a template, can someone now confirm if my measurements look reasonably good before I cut the first panel?
I fully understand that not all MIP's are the same, but they must be similar in size!

I'm beggining to think that this is too short....my cad program is sh!t.......
Has anyone got the dimensions of the panels???????????
The PANELES.ZIP drawing is either too short or my CAD program measures wrong....
I'm beginning to think that the Paneles file is not accurate....
Im so confused now.....urrrrggggg!

Hi Alex,
What's with all the A320 stuff now? :)
As far as airbus dimensions go ...not a clue. I'm on a different air corridor in my boeing 37NG ;)

Hi Gez...
My friend has a spare room and we decided to build the A320 just for the fun of it....he's got money, not me (..and space!) so on a mission to get panels made!
I am re-callabrating my cad program so should get the drawings spot-on soon...but some guidance on what measurements to expect would be cool...

There are some plans that can be edited using Google sketchup or Autodesk Studio Max.
I hope this is you want !

I have the MIP form FDS, would you like me measure those as well? Only take a minute when I get home tonight.

Hi Buddy!
I would love the FDS measurements as I will be able to callibrate my cad program using them and print them to FDS spec!
Top man, look forward to them!
Cheers matey!

I know this thread is somewhat old, but I second that! FDS specs would be nice! :)

Under this link: http://www.a320-project.skalarki.co.uk/a320-project-home-made-cockpit/downloads you can find MIP panels with sizes. They are bit different then FDS and with small changers to fit lcd screens. But outside dimentons should be as real ones.
HAPPY NEW YEAR FOR ALL!

Happy new year Marcin.
Check your email, if you have a chance. Not to stray off topic, but what happened to the FCU link? Are u still making these? I don't see it in your store.

BTW Marcin.
Your Mip drawings, can be opened with inkscape, but there are no dimensions listed. The only thing you see are the actual drawings. Now I don't know if that is some kind of incompatablilty with inkscape itself.
I DID try the free trial of corel, but It won't run on my PC at work. I have some powerful FSX PC's but I don't want to run anything that is not related to actual SIM software on them.
On the other hand, your PDF drawings are great for the MIP stands, but it would be nice to add the measurements on how high the three shelves should be mounted, in accordance with your drawings. I've seen quite a few A320 projects around the net, and what I've noticed. is that some folks like to mount the shelves at an angle, and others mount them level. I guess it boils down to what brand LCD's people are using, and if they are stripping the LCD's for a cleaner fit.
I LIKE your MIP stand drawings, and don't get me wrong, I am VERY grateful that you would share that info on your site- the only thing I would need, is how high the shelves are mounted- ECAM, FO, and Captain. I really don't want to have to install corel JUST for three measurements- that's all I need to complete the MIP stands. Those PDF's would be awesome if you added those. :)

In that case I will update my files with dimentions but after new year. No problem.
Regarding FCU - yes I can still offer complete P&P version but only for special orders.
