Hi all
Ok so i was stashing some cash from time to time which was going towards my Sim Avionics (planned) purchase. Now things have changed as you may know. What would have cost me in my currency around R2100 will now be MUCH more...
So, i am using FSBUS I can run VASFMC until i get some other avionics suite - if and when necessary BUT is there a freeware of VERY "CHEAP" WARE that will give me system logics?
This hobby makes me want to emigrate to somewhere that won't cost me a half a months salary to buy something for my SIM lol - I was even planning on moving to Level D but I have already planned a 737/generic so i don't want to change that now.
Anways i am running FSX with FSBUS - is there something compatible?
Thanks in advance.

Does this only work with SIOC? I have downloaded the demo so will try it with FSBUS :)

If you are running Orion on a different computer you will need IOCPSERVER in order for the software to communicate with the Sim PC. I believe it does run with SIOC. Wonder what ever happened to FreeFD. If I remember right FreeFD includes pfd/nd, eicas, std by instruments and FMC.

I'm still using freefd lol. I run the eicas and standby gauges on a seperate rubbish comp and it works fantastic. If you do some deep googling it can still be found in some downloads.

I still go with Prosim737, it supports fore and aft overhead logic, is completely FREE and it is the most complete 737 logic out there!!!

@ Andrew, I have been watching your build closely and i like the look of prosim. When my overhead arrives and i have it wired i would like to give this
software a try, Am i right in thinking it only works with fsx and default 737?

Hi there,
I am using FS2004 and I am flying the PMDG 737 stripped of it's panel and logics. In theory, you can use any 737 model as long as you strip it of it's logic and systems. I like the PMDG visual model and therefore that was our choice of eye candy.

I have searched for FreeFD and links i have found seem to be dead. SIOC won't work for me - i have FSBus not OC hardware - i am sure it matters?
AH yes PROSIM :) I know Martin (??) tried with FSBus (he contacted me some time ago) but he doesn't have hardware that works and i can understand it isn't worth his while to buy/build any. Perhaps someone who has some FSBus NG stuff not being used can send it his way ;) I hear prosim is FANTASTIC and MAN i wish i could use it too!!!\
Anyone have a working link to FreeFD?

If you follow this link http://205.252.250.26/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1158782448
It'll lead you here http://web.archive.org/web/20041011002146/http://freefd.homelinux.com/freefd/ Just click the full installer in the top right.
I think Freefd eventually became ellie systems payware (?)
Hope it works for you.
