What Should I do?

As said in the topic, I am unsure what Boeing plane I should start to build. I have been thinking about it for months, but I am still unsure.

Hi! Decisions, decisions! I am building the A320, but if I had it to over I think I would go with a 737NG... there's a much greater resource pool for that plane if you ask me. Information, drawings, plans, parts, panels, software, I would say the 737NG IMHO.

Go with the 737NG as there are more parts available, and parts are cheaper, and more people are building them which is good if your stuck and need help.

Or be a little different and go for the A320 as there are less parts on the market and you will have to build more yourself if your on a budget, but you have the bonus of fly by wire technology and get to revamp your joystick instead of having a shaft between your legs.... I say no more!

Does anyone reccommend the Poldragonet Hardware, I think it is much cheaper than the others, but I want to know if the quality of the product is also good. I have seen davemckee's youtube videos, and he says that they have good quality.

Does anyone know of a good throttle quadrant for the 737 (It's probly best to make this type of cockpit) that is under $1500?

Roberto's TQ from throttletek are really good for getting you off the ground with realistic looking features, it's not a full TQ but offers the look and functionality without the trim wheel and motorised features (or the long base).

Throttletek are pretty good from my experience of reviews on their products, and excellent value for money, prob your best bet at the moment,

As for a full TQ, you are looking at minimum 1200 Euro's excluding VAT for a non motorised version.

But look out on ebay and classifieds for bargains. I see one a few weeks ago on another forum advertised for £180 just needed motors and new levers, so the bargains are out there.

As for Poldragonet, plenty of people have their gear, heard that the overheads are really good and unbeatable for money, something like 500 euros with all the electronics, toggles, caps, annunciators etc, LED's etc, in fact my friend on here as the overhead, and he has had no problems.

Its just that some people have been trying to contact them and had very little response lately, and their website has not been updated in a while.

So just pick wisely and research alternatives well, and ask plenty of questions on here regarding other products!

They seem very good to me, I know someone in London who has one, and looking at his one, the quality is awsom. The FSC sell a TQ for 1200 euros minus VAT.

Throttletek are the best in terms of value for money I think, I cant think of anyone else that can sell something similar for less.

As for Windows 7 compat...I havent got a clue I'm afraid...
