hey there guys. decided to do some more simming and this time want to do things in little bit more serious way.
"wife agreed to consede our spare bedroom (that is unused anyways) for this. i read a lot about other peoples setups and
"i think i want to go with single projector route for main visualisation + LCD for instruments(perhaps via PM running on separate pc) and such. no closed cockit really but a very low sitting armchair with jet fighter style stick and throttle arrangement in front of console with instrument screen.
"room dimention is~ 10x11 and i intent to put the projector up on highest bookshelf and project on the wall across.

i cannot decide however what resolution to pick. however money is not too much of an issue but i really don't want to spend extra(that can go toward other things). i read recomendations for dell s300 but i don't think i need short throw projector
"1080p optoma hd20 available for under 1K$ tlooks very attractive, but then the 720 optoma hd66 is significant;y cheaper, and then there is gt700 with its increased throw diagonal.
so what do you you think? is 1080 worth the increased prise and FPS hit?
what other models you think i need to consider

I was afraid for / know the fps hit, and choose for 2 x 720,
never regret that, keeping up fps over eham is
difficult enough for my XPlane/E9550/HD4850/A320FBW/detail almost max.

thanks flatland.
i run overclocked Q9550 with 4870vid card (albeit the chopped 512Vram model). so far things did run on 1920*1200 (24" monitor) quite ok'ish, on non full detail. i would want just a ted more FPS and leaning but then again i a'so want at-least somewhat future proof solution...

dilema, dilema. i guess i will let the wallet decide
