Hi Guys (and ladies).

I was using Go Flight, but now am setting up Leo Bodners module which requires specific key presses for the various function/switches. Most of what I need can be found in the assignments section, but I notice that the following are not listed, and I need to operate them with Leo's module.

Nav Lights.
Taxi Lights.
Anti Collision Lights.
Beacon Light.

Any advice on how to have these lights function with Leo's module? They are not in the Assignment section, and I don't know what their key presses are? A comprehensive list of key codes including the items above would help a lot.

Thanks.

Tony,

Need to get a copy of Fsuipc. It allows you to have all sorts of control assignments that are not included on the fs assignments screen. Strange that M$ did not think to include them, but fsuipc will make it happen for you. Good luck!

Yes, most definitely reccommend FSUIPC. It works perfectly with the BU0836X, as I have just experienced with part of my 767 Overhead Build.

I have an older version of FSUIPC, and the following do not appear to be available?
Nav lights
Taxi lights
Anti collision
Beacon lights

Could it be that they are only available with the latest FSUIPC I wonder? Does anyone use the older version?

With Leo's module, is it possible to configure the button inputs as switches? At the moment, I have to operate the switch once for 'on' and then again for 'off'. Just a thought.

Thanks all.

Try looking at different variations of the name. For example try toggle nav lights, toggle strobe, etc. In fsuipc. Probably will find them that way. I know nav, taxi, beacon and strobe are all in there if you go through the list. At least in the fsx version...

Someone else will have to help with the Bodnar questions.

I shouldn't support you if you are using an old version -- as my Support Forum says, I only support the current version. Since updates are free once you've purchased it I don't know why anyone would stick with older versions in any case.

Anyway, FSUIPC cannot change the list of FS controls which are included in any particular version of FS. The list it provides is from the FS "CONTROLS.DLL" and that is fixed for any specific version of FS.

However, all light switches are accessible via offset 0D0C. There are 10 switches in there. Offset switches can be toggled on and off using the FSUIPC control "Offset Word Togglebits", or turned on with "Offset Word SetBits" or Off with "Offset Word Clearbits".

If you really want help with any of my software modules, please use the Support Forum. But update to the current version first! ;-)

Oh, I'm on holiday till 5th May so don't expect a fast answer for a week.
