Hello everyone,

I am experiencing a strange problem regarding rotary switches and the LDS767. I have sucessfully mousetrapped all three rotary "Demand Switches" (Lower left of overhead panel) and interfaced them using the BU0836X Card properly.

However, there is one small problem. Sometimes, when I turn rotary switch 1 (in real life) to the AUTO position (from the ON position), it turns to AUTO... Then springs back to the ON position! Also, when I turn rotary switch 3 from ON to AUTO, it somehow manages to turn rotary switch 1 from AUTO to OFF.

Any ideas? It sounds like there's some sort've conflict going on here.

Thanks alot,

Jack:D

Well one thing I think of and I could be way off. What type of rotary switches do you have? Shorting or non shorting? It may be possible the contacts are close enough to contact the previous position. Im not too familiar with the mouse mapping but one thing I ran into when I mouse mapped a few functions I had programmed the click ccordinates too close together and I would get unreliable results from time to time. Something to look at

Best of luck
