Hello everybody,

since several months I am slowly progressing in my 737-800 cockpit building project. So to motivate others (and also myself ;)) I would like to give some information (photos, etc.) about the actual status of the cockpit on a (more or less) regular base.

Since I do not want to open up my own website for this purpose I was thinking about doing it in the context of this forum. So if this is pricipally ok and if there is some interest, the question is: which is the right (or prefered) sub forum for such a longterm report?

Any hints and opinions are apreciated.

Regards,
Michael

Hi Michael, welcome and to answer your question you can always start a blog within Mycockpit. Just take the "Blog" option in the menu. You can report your updates in the forum.

I look forward to following your progress :) :) :)

Hi Matt,

thanks a lot for your hint. I've started a blog and meanwhile I've added about 7 entries. However the number of visitors has been, hmm, let's say moderate (a total of 13 until today). Don't get me wrong, it's not that I wish to get a Pulitzer price for the blog, but some kind of feedback (or at least some visitors) would be nice and motivating to continue. On the other hand I know very well that you can not force anyone to read something. Probably I am doing something completely wrong in my postings?

Slightly frustrated and probably a little bit too demanding... :?

Best Regards,
Michael

P.S. I know that you are visiting the blog. So thanks for that. :)

I would post here to let everyone know you've updated your blog with pics or whatever :)

For those of you not visiting Michael's Blog you're missing out on some fabulous pics and information about his project....

Matt,

thanks a lot for your support. Next time I have to care about the advertisement myself.

So I'll stop the whining and keep on building my simulator. :-D

Michael
