Has anyone, other than myself, tried this software. It works really good, and is a great buy for the price, only $59.95 Austrailian Dollars! I have tried it out and I must go with it. It is the cheapest one out there, and it works G-R-E-A-T! For anyone who wants to get more information on this go to http://www.aerosoft.com.au/home/index.html or contact them at info@aerosoft.com.au. You will not regret using this software, I know that I haven't.
Thanks for viewing this thread.

Hi Alex- Just wondered if there was any hardware integration for the aerosoft software. I have opencockpits MCP and CDU and would like to use them
Cheers

Hi Steve
No, I don't think there is but I'll ask Andrew McLean, but I think you can use the Flight Deck Software's System Logic. If Aerosoft Avionics doesn't supply that I think I will go with the system logic from Flight Deck Software.
Thanks for the questions.

Never mind, Andrew McLean says he is planning on using Flight Deck Solutions' hardware. And he said to contact info@aerosoft.co.au for any questions.

Ill add my two cents to this. I have been experimenting with the beta version and I can tell you it looks great and works pretty darn good. Im having a few issues and as I see it hardware integration may not be high on the to do list. Im hoping as time progresses all the bugs I experience gets worked out and will be able to use it flawlessly with my VR Insight MCP combo..

Thats great news!! I've been looking for a decent/affordable set of gauges for FSX to put in my cockpit for ages!! Two questions......... will they use standard FS offsets (I use GoFlight and Elite modules with FSUIPC) and how smooth are the gauges?? Regardless, I'll continue to look on with interest but it certainly looks promising!! I'd be keen to see some videos of them in action if at all possible!! :D
Cheers,
Mat Fraser

I am not sure if Andrew is going to use FSUIPC offsets, but it looks like he is. The gauges are very smooth, and you should be able to use more than 1 computer. I'm not sure what the maximum amount is. I may make a video of it soon on a laptop, and desktop. For any more information needed e-mail info@aerosoft.co.au . Also, this is still in BETA testing.

Thanks for the info - thats really great news!! I'll keep my eyes out for a video!! Is there any hint of a release date - just so I know when to go back and check the website. I don't want to flood Andrews inbox with emails - that way he can carry on working and get it released!! :D

I'm beta testing this software, and I really like it. Andrew has done a very good job. I'll keep you posted on what needs to be done.
So Far:
DEP/ARR page
IRS align (maybe)
HOLD page
FIX page
MSG page
CRZ page
DES page
CLB page
Maybe some others like CMD B since it is only used for default usually, CWS A & B Speed & Alt Intv.
He may also be upgrading many other things too.
In the end it will be worth the wait.

Another plus on the Aerosoft software is that it it very framerate friendly. Ive tried it in various configs, running on two machines, and everything on the FS machine and it is very smooth and high performing even on the FS machine

Lets hope there are more updates on the software and hardware compatibility. As you all already know ProSim has recently raised its prices on the suite so I am now looking at alternatives including iFly and Aerosoft.
