guys , please help me with this, it has been 6 months since I purchased the Opencockpits Flap Indication, Brake Pressure indicator and Yam Dampener gauages, with Opencockpit Servo Card. I tried hard to read the forums, opencockpit site, but I havent understood a thing, so much so till date I havent been able to even test the cards. For me writing the SIOC script for these is ofcourse a long way off....but my immediate target is to atleast test the guages. I downloaded the test program, it seemed to recognise teh card since the red LED on the card glowed, but how much ever, I increase the values, the motor doesnt seem to be moving.

Any idea? Is it because I havent connected the 5V power as at the moment I preassume the USB would power the card.

Guys will really appreciate any help you can provide.

Read the manual, it says you must connect the 5V power supply.

hi ... not sure if you solved your problem or not but you can check out this site and it shows you how to test your opencockpit cards..

I am also a newbee to these cards and I myself havn't hookup any wires yet cause I'm still trying to learn how to program this dam thing ...

But at least I got to est all my cards to make sure that I soldiered everything right and the computer and the software are talking to each other...

Now all I need to do now is screw the wires to the input/output connector cards and try to find or modify scripts to use with my MIP and overhead..

anyway here is the link.
