hello folks out there i hope all is well , i have the bug again to reconstruct my sim.
and this time i believe im going to rethink my sim.

with all the fine software out there we now can simulate just about anything you want.

i want motion now , i want if i can as much as i can afford , which aint much.

So im doing some research on just how to make that happen, and a thought came to my mind.

a used low-rider car with all the hydralics , or perhaps the kits used to get the same movement that motion sims give.

im still doing research on this , and here are my advanteges.

1. i can now put a beat up car on one side of my garage and use it as a cockpit , mount all my eight monitors in the car, i will litaraly build a cockpit in the beat-up car.

the key is to use the old lowrider hydralics as motion for the sim.

i know low -riders are expensive , im talking junkers , or perhaps get low-rider kits and install them yourself.

ive seen what they can do , and i dont need the kits that make your car jump , just enough to get forward up and down and side motion.

this is a doable project , because i will have a sim on wheels .

this will take care of space or hieight jus enough space for a small car .

well folks what do you think, i have seen the cost , and it is very doable.

ive seen some junkers with all the hydralics in for as little as 900 bucks , im still looking .

of course i will have to know how to get the computer to talk to the hydralics or air powered system.

Hi:

If you go on Mathew Sheil's 747-400 Simulator Project page, he has information about motion platforms, he built it him self. I would imagine if you shot him an email, he might be able to help you out by sharing his knowledge. Good luck with that though, I wouldn't have the patience to do it.
